I always wanted to be in cynology, surrounded by dogs. But never actually thought about owning a male dog. This changed when I saw post of his breeder, that he is available. Later I found out Bjorn was already sold to a new family, but he escaped many times, so they found him dificult and returned him back to breeder. Honestly, I don't believe people actually saw a potential in him when he was still young and chunky.

As I saw a picture of him, I immediately fell in love and contacted his breeder. He joined us on 13. March 2017. Fun story, my parents didn't even know I bought a dog. A male dog.

Today, I know it was love on the first sight and it was all meant to be. I needed him and he needed me.

Not a lot of people believe me, that we really had a special bond. I love all my dogs, but he was my heart dog, the one who went everywhere with me. The one who waited hours at gate waiting for me to come home from work and my mom would insist on him coming inside the house, but no, he was waiting. The one who always knew I am near and waited outside for me. The one who slept with me and show me what it's like to have "your dog".

Bjorn loved everyone. He never showed teeth to anyone, he was always patiently waiting for belly rub. He was not bad dog at all, he was pure soul.

I attended first show with him when he was 6 months old and one of the Slovenian breeder approached me. I marked her words and they stayed forever stuck in my head: "This dog is going to burn WSS world if you continue to show him". And I did. Win after win, show after show, picking BOB and group placements like crazy, he became European Winner in 2019 at only 2,5 years of age. This is pretty early, this breed needs "years" to develop to it's fullest. There was more and more, ending also with Best in Show in Karlovac International show and many Club/Speciality winnings.

Me, still student, working only occationally, I put all my money into showing him. My uncle from Zagreb saw this and offered to help me financially, but wanted to be a coowner of "this majestic dog", like he said. As I have excellent relationships with my family members, I was happy he wanted to help me.

After so many titles, there were 2 types of people when it comes to Bjorn: the ones who adored and loved this pure soul and the ones who hated him the worst they can. Many rumors came out, that he is missing dentition, one testicle, that he performs like german shepherd, that he's yellow in coat etc. But the worst that came out was that I have him only for shows. He loved showing himself and I loved leading him. For me it' was an honour being on the other side of the leash and yes, we both loved it.

After many litters around the world and exporting his semen to many great females, I finally welcomed his first litter in our kennel on 8th September 2022. Shortly after that, my worst nightmare happened. He was diagnosed with chondro osteosarcoma. He passed away in my arms at vet clinic in night hours. Later he was cremated in Austria and brought back home, to the place he belongs...
